Title: Every Barrier is Broken
Scripture Reading:
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)
Devotional:
Life is filled with challenges and obstacles that can sometimes feel insurmountable. These barriers can be physical, emotional, spiritual, or even financial. Yet, as children of God, we are not left to face these challenges alone. The promise of God is that He goes before us, and with Him, every barrier can be broken.
Consider the story of Joshua leading the Israelites into the Promised Land. The city of Jericho, with its formidable walls, stood as a massive barrier to their inheritance. But God gave Joshua a strategy that seemed foolish in the natural—march around the walls for seven days and then shout. Yet, it was their obedience and faith in God’s instruction that brought the walls down (Joshua 6).
Similarly, we may face walls in our lives that seem impossible to breach. It could be a health crisis, a financial hardship, a broken relationship, or a spiritual struggle. However, with God, all things are possible. Our faith and obedience to God’s Word and His promises are the keys to breaking down these barriers.
Jesus, through His death and resurrection, broke the ultimate barrier of sin and death, giving us access to the Father and the fullness of life. If He could do that, there is no barrier in our lives that He cannot break. We need to trust in His power and declare His promises over our situations.

What barriers are you facing today? Do you believe that God has the power to break them? Trust in His Word, obey His instructions, and declare His promises over your life.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the assurance that You go before me and are always with me. I declare that every barrier in my life is broken in the name of Jesus. Help me to trust in Your power and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Strengthen my faith and let me see Your mighty hand at work in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
