Title: In Him

Scripture Reading:”

For in Him we live and move and have our being…”_ – Acts 17:28 (NIV)

Message:

The journey of faith begins and ends in Him. It is in Jesus Christ that we find our true identity, purpose, and destiny. Often, the world tries to define us by our achievements, failures, and circumstances, but our real essence is found in Christ alone.

When Paul stood before the Areopagus in Athens, he declared a profound truth that resonates through the ages: “In Him we live and move and have our being.” This statement is a powerful reminder that our lives are not random or accidental; they are intentionally designed and sustained by God.

Living In Him:
Living “in Him” means that our daily existence is enveloped in the presence and power of Christ. Every decision, action, and thought should be aligned with His will. It is a conscious effort to surrender our plans and desires to His greater purpose. When we live in Him, we experience His peace, joy, and strength, no matter what challenges we face.

Moving In Him:
Moving “in Him” signifies that our journey is guided by His hand. The steps we take, the paths we choose, and the direction we follow are all influenced by His divine guidance. It is trusting that He knows the way better than we do. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our understanding. In all our ways, acknowledging Him ensures He will make our paths straight.

Being In Him:
Having our being “in Him” reflects our identity in Christ. We are not defined by the world’s standards but by God’s declaration over us. We are children of God, co-heirs with Christ, and new creations. Our value and worth come from Him alone. This understanding gives us the confidence to face life’s battles, knowing we are loved and cherished by our Heavenly Father.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of life in Christ. Help us to live, move, and have our being in Him every day. May we continually seek Your guidance, rely on Your strength, and rest in our identity as Your beloved children. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
