Esther: Deliverance for the Jewish People
Scripture:
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Message:
The story of Esther is a profound example of God’s providence and how He works behind the scenes to protect His people. Esther, a Jewish woman who became queen of Persia, found herself in a position to intercede for the lives of her people when a decree was issued to annihilate them.
Mordecai’s plea to Esther was a challenge to step into her God-given purpose. Though she was hesitant at first, knowing that approaching the king without invitation could cost her life, Esther eventually realized that her position was not a coincidence but a divine appointment.
Her courage and faith in God brought about a miraculous deliverance for the Jewish people. By fasting and praying before taking action, Esther acknowledged her dependence on God. When she boldly approached the king, God granted her favor, and the evil plot was overturned.
This story teaches us that God places us in specific situations for a purpose. Even when we face difficult decisions or overwhelming odds, trusting in God’s plan and stepping out in faith can bring about great deliverance. Esther’s willingness to risk her life for her people reveals the power of faith, courage, and obedience to God’s calling.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that You have a purpose for my life. Like Esther, give me the courage to stand in faith, knowing that You are in control of every situation. Help me to trust Your timing and walk boldly in the path You’ve set before me. Amen.
