TOPIC: INTRECEDE FOR THE BRETHEREN

SCRIPTURE: Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: (1 Sam 12:23) (KJV).

MESSAGE:

The disciples of Jesus were in a difficult situation in Acts 12 because Herod had taken James and executed him. He went further and captured Peter after learning that this pleased the Jews. By this time, the church had come to the realization that if they didn’t pray or intervene, he would meet the same fate as James. As a result, according to the Bible, “the church continued in prayer to God for him (Peter) without ceasing.”
The Bible says that Peter was delivered from jail by an angel of the Lord not long after the sincere and persistent intercessions made on his behalf by GOD’s people. Thank God they had learned their lesson after what had happened to James and were making prayer for Peter, as Peter might have also become a murderer.

We must make a difference in the lives of our fellow brothers and sisters. But regrettably, when a group of believers gets together, all they discuss is how awful things have turned out and all the evil that is occurring in the world. They choose to ignore the issue that other Christians are dealing with. Spend some time joining your hands in supplication for fellow church members whenever you have the chance to be with another believer instead of wasting the entire time engaging in pointless or unimportant conversation.
Don’t be slack in your intercession for men all over the world and for other Christians around the world. Participate actively in this, and God will make the good things you bring about for others come about for you.

PRAYER
I want to express my gratitude to you, father, for making men’s souls attractive to me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen, I give power for salvation, healing, restoration, and protection for my brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. I am grateful that you sparked an intercessory spirit in me.
