đŸ”„ Today’s Focus:

This Is Not the End

Scripture Reading:
John 11:1–44

Key Verse:
“Jesus said to her, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?’” — John 11:40 (NIV)

Life sometimes confronts us with seasons that feel final—moments where everything seems buried like Lazarus in a tomb. Dead dreams, unanswered prayers, closed doors, and prolonged silence can make us believe we’ve reached the end of the road. But just because it looks like the end doesn’t mean it is.

When Jesus arrived in Bethany, Lazarus had been dead four days. By all natural accounts, it was over. But Jesus made a powerful declaration: “I am the resurrection and the life.” He was reminding everyone that with Him, even what is dead can live again.

This is not the end of your story. The delay is not denial. The pain is not permanent. The tomb is not your final address. The voice of resurrection is about to call forth what has been buried—your joy, your vision, your purpose, your calling.

Even if the situation has “stinketh” like Lazarus’ tomb, Jesus still has the final say. What the enemy wrote off, God is rewriting with glory.

Reflection:

Where in your life have you been tempted to say, “It’s over”? Offer that place to God today. His glory often shines brightest in the places we gave up on.

Live It Out:

Stand in faith over every “dead” situation. Declare that it is not the end until God says it is. Call those things that seem lost back to life in prayer and confession.

Declaration:

This is not the end. My story is still being written. God is turning my mourning into dancing, and He will show His glory through what looked like a grave. I believe again—I hope again—I rise again.

Memory Verse:

“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.” — Psalm 37:24 (KJV)
