🔥 Today’s Focus:

Mercy Said No

📖 Scripture Reading:
Lamentations 3:21–23
Romans 9:15–16
Psalm 103:10–12

📌 Key Verse:
“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)

Have you ever faced a situation where you knew judgment was due—where your mistakes, your failures, your past decisions should have resulted in devastation—but somehow, mercy stood in the gap?

That’s the power of God’s mercy. It doesn’t ignore justice—it overrules it with grace. Mercy speaks when condemnation knocks. Mercy stands when sin tries to claim a soul. Mercy interrupts the enemy’s plans with divine compassion. Mercy said “No”—no to destruction, no to the grave, no to disgrace, no to shame, no to final defeat.

We are not preserved because we earned it. We are preserved because God chose mercy. He said, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.” That means your story isn’t over because of where you’ve been or what you’ve done—your story continues because God’s mercy refused to let go.

💭 Reflection:

How many times have you been sustained, forgiven, and restored—not because of your perfection, but because of His mercy? Mercy gave you another chance. It’s time to live like someone rescued on purpose.

Live It Out:

Let God’s mercy humble you, not harden you. Forgive others as He forgave you. Walk each day with gratitude, knowing that every breath you take is a testimony that mercy said no.

🗣️ Declaration:

I am not consumed, not because I was perfect, but because God’s mercy said no. I walk in mercy, I live by mercy, and I will show mercy. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing compassion.

📖 Memory Verse:

“He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities.”Psalm 103:10 (NKJV)
