🔥 Today’s Focus:
When God Remembers Mercy
📖 Scripture Reading:
Genesis 8:1–5
Habakkuk 3:2
Psalm 106:4–5
📌 Key Verse:
“And God remembered Noah…” — Genesis 8:1a (KJV)
After months of flood and silence, when it seemed all was lost and forgotten, the Bible says, “God remembered Noah.” This was not a casual memory—it was a covenant moment. When God remembers mercy, storms begin to settle, new seasons begin, and divine favor speaks where judgment once reigned.
Noah was not just remembered randomly. He was remembered because mercy still had the final say. In the midst of destruction, mercy preserved a remnant. In the midst of judgment, mercy laid the foundation for a new beginning. This same God is still in the business of remembering His people in mercy.
You may feel forgotten in the storms of life. You may look around and see only floods of delay, disappointment, or difficulty. But hear this: God never forgets a covenant sealed in mercy. When He remembers mercy, closed doors open, dry grounds reappear, and testimonies rise from ruins.
💭 Reflection:
Are there areas of your life that feel flooded and forgotten? Don’t lose hope. When God remembers mercy, nothing stays the same. He steps into impossible places with undeniable grace.
✅ Live It Out:
Today, ask the Lord as Habakkuk did: “In wrath, remember mercy.” Lift up your heart in expectation, knowing that God’s mercy can locate you wherever you are. Mercy has a memory—and God always shows up on time.
🗣️ Declaration:
God has remembered me in mercy! I will not be lost in the flood. My dry land is appearing. My story is changing. Mercy is speaking for me!
📖 Memory Verse:
“Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;” — Psalm 106:4 (KJV)
