Mercy Will Find You

📖 Scripture Reading:
2 Samuel 9:1–13
Luke 15:4–7
Psalm 23:6

📌 Key Verse:
“And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” — 2 Samuel 9:1 (KJV)

Mephibosheth was a forgotten man, hidden in a place called Lo-Debar—far from the palace, crippled by a fall, and overshadowed by shame. But one day, King David remembered a covenant and sent for him. Mercy found Mephibosheth, not because of what he had done, but because of who had spoken on his behalf—Jonathan.

In the same way, God’s mercy is looking for you. Not because of your works, your perfection, or your location—but because of the covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus. Like Mephibosheth, you may feel lost, undeserving, or broken by life’s fall, but mercy is not hindered by your condition. It finds you where you are—and lifts you to where you don’t deserve.

Mercy found Joseph in the pit. Mercy found Rahab in Jericho. Mercy found Peter after he denied Jesus. And mercy will find you too. It will break protocol, override judgment, and rewrite your story.

💭 Reflection:

Are you in a place that feels like Lo-Debar—forgotten, unworthy, or stuck? Don’t be afraid. You are not lost to God. Mercy knows your name, and it’s already coming your way.

✅ Live It Out:

Today, open your heart to the pursuit of God’s mercy. Don’t let shame or the past keep you hidden. The King is calling you out. Prepare to sit at the King’s table—not as a beggar, but as a child of covenant.

🗣️ Declaration:

Mercy will find me! I will not remain in Lo-Debar. My past will not disqualify me. The King has remembered me, and I will sit at His table continually!
