š„ Todayās Focus:
Mercy Will Find You
š Scripture Reading:
2 Samuel 9:1ā13
Luke 15:4ā7
Psalm 23:6
š Key Verse:
āAnd David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathanās sake?ā ā 2 Samuel 9:1 (KJV)
Mephibosheth was a forgotten man, hidden in a place called Lo-Debarāfar from the palace, crippled by a fall, and overshadowed by shame. But one day, King David remembered a covenant and sent for him. Mercy found Mephibosheth, not because of what he had done, but because of who had spoken on his behalfāJonathan.
In the same way, Godās mercy is looking for you. Not because of your works, your perfection, or your locationābut because of the covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus. Like Mephibosheth, you may feel lost, undeserving, or broken by lifeās fall, but mercy is not hindered by your condition. It finds you where you areāand lifts you to where you don’t deserve.
Mercy found Joseph in the pit. Mercy found Rahab in Jericho. Mercy found Peter after he denied Jesus. And mercy will find you too. It will break protocol, override judgment, and rewrite your story.
š Reflection:
Are you in a place that feels like Lo-Debarāforgotten, unworthy, or stuck? Donāt be afraid. You are not lost to God. Mercy knows your name, and itās already coming your way.
ā Live It Out:
Today, open your heart to the pursuit of Godās mercy. Donāt let shame or the past keep you hidden. The King is calling you out. Prepare to sit at the Kingās tableānot as a beggar, but as a child of covenant.
š£ļø Declaration:
Mercy will find me! I will not remain in Lo-Debar. My past will not disqualify me. The King has remembered me, and I will sit at His table continually!
š Memory Verse:
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” ā Psalm 23:6 (KJV)
