đ„ Todayâs Focus:
Keep Praying
Scripture: Luke 18:1 â âThen Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.â (NIV)
There are moments when praying feels like speaking into silence. Youâve cried, fasted, whispered, shoutedâand still, no answer. Heaven seems quiet, and you wonder if your words are floating into emptiness. But Jesus knew we would feel this way. Thatâs why He told a story in Luke 18 about a persistent widow who refused to stop knocking until justice was served.
She had no power, no title, no influenceâjust determination. She kept returning to the judgeâs door, not once, not twice, but continually. She wore him out with her persistence until he finally responded. And if a reluctant human judge could give in, how much more will our loving God respond to His children who cry out to Him day and night?
Friend, prayer is not always about immediate answersâitâs about trust, relationship, and spiritual alignment. God isnât ignoring you. Heâs working in ways you canât see. Every prayer is a seed. Some bloom quickly, others take timeâbut none are wasted.
So keep praying. Not because you’re desperate, but because you’re confident. Confident in His timing, His faithfulness, and His heart. The answer may not come how or when you expect itâbut it will come. And when it does, it will be beautiful.
Reflection:
Have you stopped praying about something you once believed God for? Today, stir up your faith again. Go back to the place of prayer with new boldness.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to trust Your timing. Help me to remain faithful in prayer, even when I donât see results. I believe You are at work, and I choose to wait with expectation.
Memory Verse:
âThe prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.â â James 5:16b (NIV)
