Under the Shadow of His Wings
Scripture:
“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” — Psalm 91:4 (NIV)
Message:
The phrase “under the shadow of His wings” is a powerful depiction of God’s care and protection over His children. Just as a bird shields its young from danger, God offers us His unfailing refuge and love. This promise signifies a place of safety, intimacy, and trust.
When life’s challenges seem overwhelming, we can confidently turn to God, knowing that His faithfulness will sustain and guard us. His wings represent His grace, covering every weakness and fortifying every vulnerability.
However, this refuge isn’t automatic; it requires us to dwell in His presence. This means developing a habit of fellowship with Him through prayer, worship, and meditating on His Word.
