Topic: Happy Confessions
Scripture: We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).
Message:
You must declare what God has done for you and in you in order for the divine provisions of the Gospel made accessible to you in Christ Jesus to become your essential experience in life. Because they don’t know how to make these “joyful confessions,” many people live beggarly lives far below their calling. Declaring what God has said about you while also confessing your pleasure over who you are in Christ and all that you have and may do!
When you gladly confess God’s Word about you, it doesn’t matter if some others think you’re bragging. God says that you are what you are! Because of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, though he was wealthy, became poor for your sakes so that you would become rich by his poverty, 2 Corinthians 8:9 reads. Therefore, let no man take honor from men, says 1 Corinthians 3:21. Since everything belongs to you. Furthermore, according to 1 Peter 2:24, “Who his own self bare our sins in his body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
You should declare your cheerful confessions and declare, “I refuse to be broke, poor, or ill!” in light of these texts. Make this your language by saying it right now and every day. Jesus reportedly remarked in Mark 11:23 that you will receive what you speak. So continue using proper grammar! Learn how to claim what is already yours in Christ Jesus by using your tongue. Keep stating your identity in Christ. Speak out about the things God has done for you, through you, and in you!
We read in our introductory verse, “We having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak,” that the Psalmist declared, “I believe therefore have I spoken” (Psalm 116:10). Because of our confessions, we are controlled. Continue sharing your identity, skills, and inheritance in Christ Jesus by joyfully confessing God’s Word.
Prayer:
God says I am what I am, and right now His ability, grace, and power are powerfully at work in and through me. I am what God says I am, and I am capable of what He says I am capable of. I know that His Word is reality because of which I’ll never be impoverished, ill, broke, or defeated!
