TOPIC: “Jesus Christ’s Unwavering Faith”
SCRIPTURE: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
MESSAGE
In our theme verse, Paul makes a profound reference to the unwavering faith of the Son of God – the faith embodied by Jesus Christ himself! It’s truly remarkable to consider that He had faith in each and every one of us. According to the Bible, driven by the anticipation of the immense joy and glory that awaited, Jesus willingly endured the agonizing crucifixion and shame (Hebrews 12:2). You are the very joy and glory that He envisioned, the reason He willingly embraced a criminal’s death. He foresaw the incredible transformation you would undergo through His selfless sacrifice.
The Scriptures reveal that God’s divine desire was to dwell within humanity, for us to serve as His living abode. Proverbs 8:31 tells us that the Spirit rejoiced in the habitable places of His creation, but His ultimate delight was in the sons and daughters of humanity. Jesus, in His sacrificial act, gave His life to fulfill God’s dream: the dream of us manifesting God’s glory, of us embodying God’s righteousness, and of us becoming companions of the divine nature. He gave His life so that God’s grand design for us to experience and relish life in its fullness would come to fruition.
Now, we reside in a state of righteousness, prosperity, health, dominion, victory, and excellence for all eternity, all because of the faith of Jesus Christ. He had unshakable faith in His mission, in you, and entrusted you with His very life. He understood that if you embraced His Gospel, you would be transformed into His likeness, and today, you indeed are: “…As He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).
Believe not only in what He accomplished and who He is but also in what He has made you to be. Believe in yourself. Live by the same unwavering faith that Jesus had. Resolve to become everything He sacrificed His life for you to achieve and enjoy. Make a firm decision that your life will bring glory and praise to Him as you fulfill your destiny in Him.
PRAYER
I’m what God says I am. I’m an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ; I’m living God’s dream and enjoying the fullness of life. I walk in prosperity, health, strength and victory now and evermore, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
