TITLE: “Surrendering to His Purpose”
SCRIPTURE: Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will… (Psalm 40:7-8).
MESSAGE
This conveys the message of God’s deep love and care for you. He desires the best for you, and you can trust Him with your life. In Isaiah 1:19, He promises prosperity for those who are willing and obedient. The Living Bible even suggests that He can make you rich if you let Him help you.
As obedient children of God, you can have faith in His ability to enrich your life. Your role is to align with His will by immersing yourself in His Word. Those who struggle in life often haven’t fully embraced God’s Word and His love, attempting to take control of their lives themselves.
When you truly know Him, you find peace and realize His passion for your success surpasses your own. This revelation transformed the author’s life, leading them to wholeheartedly follow God’s choices and Word.
Embrace His love, as Colossians 1:13 AMPC reveals that you’ve been transferred into the Kingdom of His love. Have confidence in His love, believe in Him, and surrender to the unique destiny He has chosen for you. His Word serves as the blueprint for your life, expressing His divine will. Following His Word is how you submit to His will, as His Word is His will made known.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for strengthening me by your Spirit to do your will always. I live for you alone, fully submitted to your plans and purpose for my life. My life is a daily expression of your will, and I fulfil your purpose and destiny for me with glory and joy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY: Luke 22:41-42 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Philippians 2:13 AMPC [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
Hebrews 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
