TITLE: The Unchanging Power of the Name of Jesus
SCRIPTURE: And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? (Mark 12:24).
MESSAGE
In the Scriptures, we find this powerful declaration: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). This profound truth assures us that what Jesus accomplished in the days of the Bible, He continues to do today; His consistency remains unwavering. His Name holds the same authority and power to perform astonishing miracles, such as opening deaf ears, restoring sight to the blind, healing the lame, mending maimed limbs, and even raising the dead, just as it did in the biblical accounts.
The Bible emphasizes, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). This promise extends to anyone, irrespective of their circumstances, and it remains as true and relevant as ever. No matter how dire a situation may seem, when you earnestly call upon the Name of the Lord, He hears and responds.
The Name of Jesus embodies salvation, deliverance, protection, healing, preservation, and wholeness. Even if medical professionals have given up hope, whether due to conditions like kidney failure, heart disease, or nervous breakdowns, take heart. Our Lord is compassionate, gracious, and all-powerful. Call upon His Name, and you will witness a transformation.
It’s vital to understand that there is no document in the world truer than the Bible—the Word of God. God’s Word is an expression of His divine will, and it unequivocally states that anyone who calls upon Him shall be saved. The key is simple: believe and receive His message, embracing His plan for you to walk in divine health and victory, and take action accordingly.
Mark 9:23 echoes the truth, declaring, “…If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” These are not empty words; they emanate from the lips of our Master and stand eternally true. He assured us, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33). His consistency and faithfulness are unwavering. Let us forever exalt and praise His glorious Name.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we express our gratitude for bestowing upon us the Name of Jesus, a name that has consistently demonstrated its power, reliability, and unwavering capacity to transform seemingly impossible circumstances, bringing about miracles throughout the ages. I confidently stride in health, strength, and vitality, establishing your divine will and righteousness in my sphere of influence, all in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
