Life’s challenges often lead us to seek refuge and strength. Today, we turn to Psalm 46:1 to discover how God’s presence is our source of refuge and strength in times of trouble.

An Ever-Present Help:
The promise in this verse is that God is “an ever-present help in trouble.” His assistance is not sporadic but constant, always available when we need it most.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for being our refuge and strength in times of trouble. Help us to find solace and strength in your presence, knowing that you are always with us. May we turn to you for shelter and assistance, finding peace and courage in your unchanging love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
