Title: “I’m Blessed”

Scripture Reading: Psalm 34:8 (NIV)

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”

The declaration “I’m blessed” is not just a phrase but a profound acknowledgment of God’s goodness and favor in our lives. Today, let’s explore the essence of being blessed, guided by Psalm 34:8.

The psalmist invites us to taste and see that the Lord is good. Being blessed starts with a personal experience of God’s goodness—savoring His love, mercy, and faithfulness in our lives.

The source of our blessing lies in taking refuge in God. In seeking His shelter, guidance, and presence, we discover a deep sense of security and peace that transcends our circumstances.

Being blessed involves counting and recognizing the multitude of blessings God bestows upon us daily—both big and small. It’s an awareness that every good thing comes from the gracious hand of our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the abundant blessings in my life. Help me to taste and see your goodness daily, and may I find refuge in your loving arms. Open my eyes to recognize and appreciate the blessings that surround me, both seen and unseen. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
