Moments of Faith daily devotional 08 April 2024, by Prophet Frank Udoh

Title: Destined for Signs and Wonders.

Message: As children of God, we are called to live lives that testify to His power and glory. In this devotional, we will explore the profound truth that each of us is uniquely made for signs and wonders, destined to reveal God’s miraculous work in the world.

Scripture Reading: Acts 1:8 (NIV) “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Reflection: God has placed within each of us a divine purpose and calling. We are not merely here to exist but to actively participate in His kingdom work, demonstrating His love and power to those around us. This includes being vessels for signs and wonders that point others to the reality of God’s presence and sovereignty.

Consider the miraculous works recorded throughout Scripture— from the parting of the Red Sea to the healing of the sick by Jesus. These signs and wonders were not limited to a select few but were performed through ordinary men and women who surrendered themselves to God’s will and power.

Today, God continues to work miracles in the lives of His people, and He invites us to be conduits of His supernatural power. Whether it’s through acts of compassion, prayers for healing, or declarations of faith, we have the opportunity to partner with God in bringing about signs and wonders that testify to His glory.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for calling me to be a part of your kingdom work. Help me to embrace my role as a vessel for signs and wonders, empowered by your Holy Spirit. May my life be a reflection of your miraculous power, drawing others closer to you. Use me, Lord, to bring glory to your name. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Further Reading: Hebrews 2:4 (NIV) “God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.”
