TOPIC: Anticipate Positivity Daily
SCRIPTURE: And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man (Luke 2:52).
MESSAGE:
There are individuals who lack the expectation of positive outcomes in their lives. They’ve grown accustomed to hardship, suffering, failure, and stagnation, and they don’t anticipate better things. They haven’t learned to anticipate blessings or how to tap into God’s grace and glory, which are accessible to all who are in Christ Jesus.
Our introductory scripture illustrates how Jesus not only grew in physical stature but also in wisdom and favor with God and humanity. Some people focus solely on physical growth while neglecting wisdom and favor. Instead of merely being content with physical growth, strive to grow in wisdom and favor. Always declare, “I am increasing in favor!”
Embrace the anticipation that God is continually extending His favor to you. Envisage that favor is flowing from God and others to you. Expect to encounter divine opportunities. While hard work is important, remember the Bible’s wisdom: “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God” (2 Corinthians 3:5).
Furthermore, the Bible emphasizes that salvation is not by works, so no one can boast (Ephesians 2:9). It’s not about your efforts but God’s grace. Maintain a state of expectancy with God; anticipate good things because you are a child of God and a recipient of His grace, which abounds in your life.
Anticipate blessings each day. The Bible assures us that God daily loads us with benefits (Psalm 68:19), and the earth is filled with the goodness of the Lord (Psalm 33:5). Who is this goodness for? It’s for you! Therefore, expect goodness and consistently proclaim God’s favor actively operating in your life.
DECLARATION
My faith is alive, always expecting good outcomes and divine favor. I walk into blessings and opportunities today, conscious of God’s love for me. I’m walking in the blessings of Abraham. Amen.
