Title: “The Lord, Our Shepherd

Scripture Reading: Psalm 23 (NIV)

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.”

Message:
Psalm 23 is a beloved and comforting passage that depicts the Lord as our Shepherd. Today, we delve into the timeless words of this psalm to find solace and reassurance in the care of our Shepherd.

The Lord, Our Shepherd:
The opening verse beautifully declares the Lord as our Shepherd. He guides, protects, and provides for His sheep.

Lacking Nothing:
With the Lord as our Shepherd, we lack nothing. His provision and care are abundant, ensuring that we are not in want.

Rest and Refreshment:
The subsequent verses paint a picture of green pastures, quiet waters, and soul-refreshing care. The Shepherd leads us to places of rest and restoration.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for being our Shepherd, the One who guides and cares for us. We find comfort in your provision and rest in your presence. May we follow you with trust and gratitude. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
