Title: “My Hiding Place.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 91:1-2 (NIV) – “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'”

In times of trouble and uncertainty, we all long for a place of safety and security. As believers, we are blessed to have a hiding place in the presence of our Heavenly Father. In this devotional, titled “My Hiding Place,” let’s explore the profound truth of finding refuge and strength in God’s presence.

Reflect on the imagery presented in Psalm 91, describing God as our shelter, refuge, and fortress. Just as a physical shelter provides protection from external threats, God offers us spiritual shelter from the storms of life. When we dwell in His presence, we find safety, peace, and rest for our soul.

Consider the challenges and trials you may be facing in your life. Whether it’s health issues, financial struggles, or relational conflicts, know that you are not alone. In times of trouble, God invites us to come to Him and find solace in His presence. He is our ever-present help in times of need, ready to offer comfort and strength.

Make the declaration of faith found in Psalm 91:2 your own: “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Speak these words over your life as a reminder of God’s faithfulness and provision. Trust in His promises to protect and sustain you through every trial and tribulation.

As you abide in God’s presence, allow His peace to fill your heart and mind. Release your worries and anxieties into His capable hands, knowing that He is in control of all things. Find rest in His unfailing love and sovereignty, knowing that nothing can separate you from His love.

Heavenly Father, thank you for being our hiding place and refuge in times of trouble. Help us to dwell in your presence and find rest in your peace. May we trust in your promises and declare your goodness over our lives. Grant us the strength and courage to face each day with confidence, knowing that you are with us always. In Jesus’ name, amen.
