Moments Of Faith Daily Devotional 14 September 2023 By Prophet Frank Udoh

SCRIPTURE: “Who can ever separate us from the love of Christ? Can trials, troubles, persecution, hunger, destitution, danger, or violence? No, in all these challenges, we emerge as victorious conquerors through His unfailing love (Romans 8:35-37).

Often, when individuals embrace Christ, they mistakenly assume they won’t encounter adversity or persecution. However, the Bible encourages us to rejoice in the face of diverse trials (James 1:2). Tests, tribulations, and persecutions are inherent in our journey; don’t be disheartened by them, for you are not merely a conqueror but a triumphant victor in Christ Jesus.
The adversary may attempt to sway you and launch attacks, but you have the means to resist him—your unwavering faith. Ephesians 6:16 instructs us to employ our faith as a shield to quench the fiery darts of the wicked: ‘Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.’
We are not in a defensive stance but an offensive one against Satan and his dark forces. We are well-equipped to withstand their assaults and hold dominion over them. Whether they are principalities, powers, or rulers of this world’s darkness, they are subject to you in the name of Jesus.
Continue to live in the victory of Christ. Rule over your world, influence your environment, and provide no openings for Satan. Ephesians 4:27 reminds us not to give any place to the devil. Remember that Jesus has given us the authority to cast out demons; therefore, exercise that authority in His name to subdue the forces of evil.
This is what Jesus instructed us to do: ‘And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons…’ (Mark 16:17). It’s the first of the things He said we could do in His name. Praise the Lord!”
I have dominion and authority over principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. I dominate my world and frustrate the tokens of the adversary—His stratagems and manoeuvres—by the power of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Ephesians 6:14-18 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NIV For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
