TITLE: “A Tree Producing Outstanding Fruits”

SCRIPTURE: Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm (Daniel 6:3).

MESSAGE:

When you allow the Holy Spirit to guide your life and align yourself with the Scriptures as His perfect will, you’ll witness a transformation. Your perspective will change, and you’ll begin to value and esteem everyone around you. Embracing this truth elevates every aspect of your existence, turning your life into a reflection of Christ’s perfection.
The reason Daniel outshone his peers was not merely his position but the presence of an excellent spirit. Conversely, those who harbored bitterness and resentment plotted against him when they saw the king’s favor toward him.

In Matthew 7:18, Jesus illustrated the concept of excellence, likening it to fruit worthy of admiration. Consider your own life; is it worthy of admiration? If others emulated your behavior, would you find it pleasing?
Let your life become a testament to the spirit of excellence dwelling within you. Rise above envy, bitterness, and anger, for you are like a flourishing tree bearing remarkable fruit. As John 15:2 says, you are continually pruned to yield more abundant and superior fruit.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the special ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life today; you’ve given me an excellent spirit that produces in me an excellent character. Therefore, bitterness, anger and envy have no place in my life. Christ’s nature of excellence is manifested in me, and evident in my walk, talk, and everything I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Daniel 5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

Proverbs 17:27 He that hath knowledge spareth his words: [and] a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
