Title: “The Gift of God’s Grace

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

The concept of God’s grace is at the core of our faith. Today, we explore Ephesians 2:8-9 and the incredible gift of salvation by God’s grace.

Saved by Grace:
Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us that our salvation is not earned through our efforts or good deeds. It is entirely a result of God’s grace—a free and unmerited gift.

Through Faith:
While salvation is a gift of grace, it is received through faith. We place our trust in God’s grace, believing in His saving power. Faith is the key that opens the door to the gift of salvation.

Not by Works:
The passage emphasizes that our salvation is “not by works” so that no one can boast. It’s a humbling reminder that we cannot take credit for our salvation; it is solely a product of God’s grace and His amazing love.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the incredible gift of your grace. Help us to understand the depth of this gift and to receive it through faith. Keep us humble, knowing that our salvation is not by our own efforts, but by your unmerited favor. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
