Moments of Faith daily devotional 20 March 2024, By Prophet Frank Udoh

Title: Obtaining Grace.

Message :

Grace is often defined as God’s unmerited favor toward us, a gift freely given that we do not deserve. Yet, while grace is freely available to all, obtaining it requires an act of faith and surrender on our part. In this devotional, let’s explore what it means to obtain grace and how we can fully embrace God’s abundant blessings in our lives.

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

Reflection:

Pause and reflect on the words of Hebrews 4:16. This verse invites us to approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, knowing that we will receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Consider what it means to approach God’s throne of grace. Are there areas in your life where you need His mercy and grace?

As you meditate on the concept of obtaining grace, consider the posture of your heart. Are you approaching God with humility and sincerity, acknowledging your need for His grace? Take a moment to surrender any pride or self-sufficiency, and invite God to pour out His grace upon you.

Think about the ways in which God’s grace has manifested in your life. Reflect on past experiences where His grace has been evident, providing strength, guidance, and comfort in times of trial. Give thanks for His faithfulness and provision, knowing that His grace is always sufficient for you.

As you seek to obtain grace, remember that it is not something to be earned or achieved but received as a gift from God. Embrace His grace with gratitude and humility, allowing it to transform your heart and empower you to live a life of faith and obedience.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your abundant grace that is freely available to us. Help us to approach Your throne with confidence, knowing that we will find mercy and grace in our time of need. May Your grace sustain us, empower us, and transform us into vessels of Your love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, amen.
