TOPIC: The Unbreakable Word
SCRIPTURE: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. ( Isaiah 55:11)
MESSAGE:
These sentences serve as the sovereign assertions of God, and they make it very evident how unchangeable and inerrant God’s word is. God’s word is infallible. His word is flawless, trustworthy, and reliable!
For instance, it didn’t make sense to the natural intellect that God could make Abraham the father of many countries when He said He would. Abraham and Sarah were already adults when they were married. The bible claims that both Sarah’s womb and Abraham’s body were dead and inoperable, yet this did not alter or change God’s statement about them.
Abraham put his trust in God’s infallible word and gave an unconditional commitment to the Lord, knowing that God’s word is infallible:He did not hesitate at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in confidence, praising God (Romans 4:19-20). “[b]And being not weak in faith, he considered neither his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, nor yet the deadness of Sara’s womb.
Abraham was known as the “father of faith” and “friend of God” because of his belief in the inerrancy of God’s word (James 2:23). Act on God’s word to show your faith in it because it never comes back to Him empty. What the senses portray doesn’t important when God talks to you; what counts is what He says in His word. His word is infallible.
PRAYER:
The word of God,which is the source of my life, is living and active in me today! I experience the transforming power of the word in my finances, health, family and everything that concerns me; my life is upgraded today by the power of God’s word. Amen
