TITLE: “Unveiling the Identity of the Holy Spirit”
SCRIPTURE: And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Stanby), that He may remain with you forever (John 14:16 AMPC).
MESSAGE
The Holy Spirit, shrouded in neither smoke nor cloud, transcends earthly notions of form or substance. The Holy Spirit is nothing less than the third Person of the Godhead, a divine revelation that unfolds in remarkable ways. In the genesis of our understanding, we were introduced to God as “Elohim” in Hebrew, a word revealing the plurality within divinity.
Genesis 1:1 signals this divine plurality, yet it is in the second verse that the Spirit of God hovers over the face of the deep, beckoning our awareness. Thus, while the Holy Spirit is the foremost manifestation of “Elohim,” we come to know Him as the culmination of divine revelation, as Jesus conveyed to His disciples in John 14:16-17: “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”
The Holy Spirit stands in perfect unity with Jesus, not as a recipient of power from God but as the very POWER of God. He emanates as the Spirit of truth proceeding from the Father, never diminishing in essence or significance. In heaven, He is indivisible from the Father, a harmonious presence within the divine. On earth, His omnipresent nature accompanies every child of God, infusing His divine essence into all that touches their lives. He bears no name but responds to both “Holy Ghost” and “Holy Spirit,” embodying His divine essence and character.
As Jesus declared, “But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name…” (John 14:26), we grasp the profound truth that the Holy Spirit, though nameless in His own right, reverberates to the call of Jesus. Indeed, there is so much more to explore about this magnificent Personality – our Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby. Hallelujah! Dive deeper into the riches of His nature in our book, “The Holy Spirit and You,” and embark on a journey of divine discovery.”
DECLARATION
“Blessed Holy Spirit, I am profoundly grateful for your eternal presence within me. I acknowledge you as the divine guide leading me into absolute truth, imparting wisdom that enables me to consistently align my choices and decisions with God’s flawless plan for my life. Hallelujah!”
FURTHER STUDY:
John 14:16-18 (AMPC) “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever – The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and he will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.”
John 15:26 (KJV) “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me”
