Title: “Beyond Assumption”

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Message:
Life is often filled with uncertainties, and assumptions can cloud our judgment. Today, we explore the theme of going beyond assumption and placing our trust in the wisdom of God as we delve into Proverbs 3:5-6.

The wisdom of Proverbs encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, surpassing the limitations of our own understanding. God’s ways are higher, and His plans often unfold beyond our assumptions.

To go beyond assumption requires an intentional act of submission. In all areas of our lives, we are called to submit to God’s guidance and sovereign will, recognizing that His perspective far exceeds our limited understanding.

The Assurance of Straight Paths:
The promise follows our trust and submission – God will make our paths straight. Even when we can’t see the entire journey, we can be confident that God’s guidance leads us in the right direction.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to go beyond assumption and place our complete trust in You. Grant us the wisdom to submit to Your guidance in all areas of our lives. May we find assurance in Your promise to make our paths straight as we navigate the uncertainties of life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
