TITLE: “Neutralize His Impact”
SCRIPTURE:
…Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:1-2).
MESSAGE
In the scripture mentioned above, the phrase “the power of the air” signifies an atmosphere or behavior that reflects a particular quality or trait, much like when we speak of “an air of unbelief.” This could represent an atmosphere in a region that hints at something negative or dark about that place, often associated with the influence of the prince of the power of the air. However, your role is to counteract this influence.
It’s important to note that churches, individuals, families, and even entire communities can unwittingly be affected by the prevailing atmosphere of their surroundings. For instance, the church in Corinth was influenced by the city of Corinth, and the same applied to the church in Ephesus. Nevertheless, the apostles conveyed through their teachings that only through the Holy Spirit could they transcend the spirit of their environment and break free from the control of the prince of the power of the air.
This malevolent force is responsible for introducing a sense of poverty, inadequacy, and fostering destructive behaviors such as hatred, violence, and wickedness in the world. It can exert influence over families, cities, kingdoms, and nations, shaping many aspects of their existence.
However, the Bible reassures us, stating, “For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod” (Isaiah 30:31). The Assyrian is symbolic of the Antichrist spirit, and the “voice of the LORD” is explained as the Word of God spoken through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the “rhema” of God, the sword of the Spirit, which disrupts the plans of Satan and the forces of darkness.
By wielding the Word of God, you have the capacity to dismantle the activities of the prince of the power of the air and neutralize their influence over your nation, city, family, personal life, and environment. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
I declare my authority over the spirit of darkness, which leads people to destruction. I render it powerless and nullify its influence over my nation. Christ governs and guides my life, family, business, city, and surroundings. In His Name, I proclaim peace for all nations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
