Title: The Untouchable Blessing
Scripture Reading: Genesis 37: 3-9
Message
“Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.” (Genesis 37: 3)
It’s worth nothing that Joseph’s brothers took away his multicolored coat at some time. They took the manifestation of what was already within him; they took the proof of his favor, but he still became everything he was destined to become. They took the physical expression of his blessing, but it continued to reverberate. They spotted the garment and took it from him, but they did not take his place in fate.
Men can take your “coat of many colours,” but they can’t take your blessings. Men may take some of your results; they may take some of your possessions; they may steal some of your clients; they may bad-mouth you in the ears of your helpers; they may do whatever they want with your “coat of many colours,” but they cannot tamper with what heaven has provided for you. They can’t take away your blessing.
Some may have seen the manifestation of your blessing and come to fight you; however, God says that even if they take manifestations of your blessing, they cannot touch your blessing, they cannot take what God has planted inside of you, they cannot take your place in destiny, they cannot access the future that God has reserved for you, and they cannot steal, exchange, or divert your God given destiny.
Men may fight for your position, they may fight for your material possessions, they may come for you because you are preferred above them, they may even hate you because of the favours you have received from God and from men, but they cannot take your blessing. Your blessing is divinely secured, and as men accept the visible evidence, God will provide more.
Don’t worry about people who despise you because of your “coat of many colours.” You are more valuable than your ‘coat’; you are more valuable than your worldly belongings; and you are more valuable than any position you hold. Your benediction is impenetrable.
