Title: “Rest in God’s Promises

Scripture Reading: Psalm 62:5-8 (NIV)

“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”

Message:
In times of uncertainty and chaos, we find our refuge and rest in God’s promises. Today, we explore Psalm 62:5-8, which reminds us to trust in God and find our unshakable hope in Him.

Finding Rest in God:
The passage begins with an encouragement to find rest in God. In Him, we discover true rest and the source of our hope.

A Solid Rock:
God is described as our rock, our salvation, and our fortress. He is unchanging and unshakable. We can depend on Him in all circumstances.

Trust and Pour Out Your Heart:
We are urged to trust in Him at all times and pour out our hearts to Him. God is our refuge and a safe place to bring our worries and cares.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we find rest in You, our rock and salvation. You are our fortress, and we trust in You at all times. Thank you for being our refuge and the source of unshakable hope. We pour out our hearts to You, knowing that You are our dependable stronghold. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
