Moments Of Faith Devotional 19 November by Prophet Frank Udoh

Title: “Ask and It Shall be Given”

Scripture Reading: Matthew 7:7 (NIV)

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Message:
In the simplicity of a request lies the power of a promise. Today, we delve into Matthew 7:7 and explore the profound assurance that when we ask, seek, and knock, we open the door to God’s gracious provision and unfailing love.

The invitation to ask is accompanied by the certainty of receiving. God encourages us to approach Him with confidence, knowing that He is ready and willing to respond to our needs.

Seeking implies a deliberate quest. As we seek God’s will, we align our hearts with His, discovering the depth of His wisdom and guidance. The promise holds that when we seek, we will find.

Knocking on a door requires an expectation of it being opened. Similarly, when we approach God with our prayers, we do so with the anticipation that He will open the door to His grace, mercy, and provision.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the assurance that when we ask, seek, and knock, you are ready to respond. Grant us the confidence to approach you with our needs, the purpose to seek your will, and the expectation that your doors of grace will be opened. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
