Moments Of Faith Daily Devotional 8 October 2023 By Prophet Frank Udoh

TITLE: “The Kingdom Has Been Granted to Us”

SCRIPTURE: Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32).

MESSAGE:

Hebrews 12:28 imparts a message akin to what we found in our initial verse. It states, “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”

Though the King James Version might suggest an ongoing process of receiving the Kingdom, a closer examination of the original Greek rendition reveals that we already possess the Kingdom.

The Complete Jewish Bible clarifies this, stating, “Therefore, since we have received an unshakeable Kingdom, let us have grace, through which we may offer service that will please God, with reverence and fear.” We have already received the Kingdom, which means we should dwell in it and manifest its life. But what exactly is the life of the Kingdom, and how can we understand the genuine Christian life God expects of us today?

To discover the life of the Kingdom, it’s essential to study the Book of Acts, delve into the insights offered by the epistles, and explore the prophetic promises to the Jews concerning Christ’s millennial reign. These reveal a remarkable glimpse into the life of the Kingdom, a life that is already bestowed upon us to experience and live NOW! Anything less than this falls short of complete Christianity and the Kingdom’s life.

This is why we are dedicated to nurturing and educating God’s people about the Kingdom-life and the Kingdom’s way of living. There exists a Kingdom perspective, and as members of this Kingdom, we must adopt God’s Word as our blueprint and guide for embracing the ever-glorious, joyful, and transcendent life of the Kingdom.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I express my gratitude for not only ushering me into the Kingdom but also bestowing the Kingdom upon me. Your Word serves as my guide, illuminating the path to the Kingdom-life and the Kingdom’s way of living. I embrace and live the ever-glorious, joyful, and transcendent life of the Kingdom in the name of Jesus. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Mark 1:14* After John was imprisoned, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God.

Luke 17:20‭-‬21 AMPC When the Pharisees inquired about the arrival of the kingdom of God, Jesus responded by saying that the kingdom of God doesn’t manifest through visible signs or external displays. It is not a matter of people pointing and saying, “Here it is!” or “There it is!” For, you see, the kingdom of God is within you, residing in your hearts, and it surrounds you in your midst.
