TITLE: Shift Your Focus Beyond Yourself

SCRIPTURE: But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you… (Acts 1:8 AMPC).

MESSAGE

In 2 Corinthians 3:5 from the AMPC translation, it is beautifully written: “We recognize that we are not inherently qualified or sufficient in our abilities to make personal judgments or claim any accomplishment as solely our own. Instead, our power, ability, and sufficiency come from God.” Let us praise God for this truth, which assures us that we lack nothing in terms of ability.

This verse brings to mind Philippians 2:13, which declares, “For it is God who actively works within you, both to give you the desire and the ability to fulfill his good pleasure.” The Holy Spirit empowers you, making you both willing and capable to consistently deliver excellence in all your endeavors. This aligns with the wisdom found in 2 Corinthians 4:7, where we are reminded that we hold this incredible treasure within our earthly vessels, so that any excellence or power displayed is attributed to God, not to ourselves.

Remember, it’s not your personal strength but the divine ability of God at play within you. So, always look beyond your own limitations. Embrace the person, power, grace, and ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life. The Holy Spirit is your ultimate advantage. Whether it’s in your ministry, career, business, job, or academics, remain conscious of His grace and power actively working both in you and through you.

Carry out every task with confidence, knowing that you are fully equipped for any challenge because He dwells within you, guiding and empowering your every action. As Zechariah 4:6 declares, “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.” You have been infused with supernatural abilities to accomplish feats that transcend human capability. Hallelujah!

DECLARATION:
I am complete in the sufficiency of Christ; I accomplish all tasks through His mighty power, guided by His wisdom and grace. I walk in health, victory, strength, prosperity, and glory, for the Lord dwells within me, working in and through me to fulfill His divine will and good pleasure, all in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

1 John 4:4 reassures us, “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

Colossians 1:26-29 reveals the hidden mystery now revealed to His saints: “This mystery is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end, I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.”

And let’s not forget Philippians 4:13, which declares, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
